About us
Thistle & Hearth is a trading name of Sandra Shawcross, a sole trader, of 3 Woods Meadow, Thulston/Derby DE72 3UX, United Kingdom. You can reach us through the Contact page on our website.

Orders
When you place an order, you're making an offer to buy. Your order is accepted, and a contract formed, when we send you a dispatch confirmation email. We may decline an order, for example if an item is out of stock, if there is an error in the price or description, or if we suspect fraud. If we do, we'll tell you promptly and refund anything you've paid.

Prices and payment
All prices are in pounds sterling and include UK VAT where it applies. Delivery charges are shown separately at checkout. Payment is taken when you place your order. If we find a pricing error, we'll contact you before dispatch and you can choose to go ahead at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

Delivery
Our Shipping Policy sets out delivery options, prices and timescales. Delivery dates are estimates. Risk of loss or damage to your order passes to you when it is delivered to you.

Cancellations and returns
You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, as explained in our Returns and Refunds policy. This is in addition to your legal rights if goods arrive faulty, damaged or not as described.

Products
We try to show our products as accurately as we can. Natural materials, handmade finishes and fragrances can vary, and colours may look slightly different on your screen. Our products are sold as home fragrance and gift items. Essential oils are for external use only, are not to be taken internally, and should be kept away from children and pets. Please read the label before use. If you are pregnant, taking medication or have a medical condition, please check with a healthcare professional before using any fragranced product.

Our responsibility to you
We are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our failure to take reasonable care or to follow these terms. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for your statutory rights as a consumer.

Privacy
How we use your personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.

Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The terms in force when you place an order are the ones that apply to that order.

Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
